Lethbridge School District No. 51 offers a full range of programming to over 8400 students in 18 schools.  The grade structure in our schools is:

Elementary Schools:  Kindergarten and Grades 1 - 5
Middle Schools: Grades 6 - 8
High Schools: Grades 9 -12

 

 

 

Students have a variety of programming choices that include core studies in:

  • English Language Arts
  • Social Studies
  • Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics and General Science)
  • Mathematics.
In addition students may select from a large number of complementary courses including:
  • Fine Arts (Art, Dance, Drama, Instrumental Music, Vocal Music)
  • Career and Technology Studies (Design Studies, Communication Technologies, Financial Management, Legal Studies, Construction Technologies, Food studies, Fashion Studies, Information Processing, Cosmetology, Automotives, Auto body)
  • Physical Education, Sports Administration, Fitness
 

Up to date technologies are available for use by teachers and students in all of our classrooms.  There are several unique programs available in our schools including:

We have a close working relationship with post secondary institutions including the University of Lethbridge and the Lethbridge College.
